The DiSC model can help an individual understand their self and others by knowing their
primary, behavioral styles. DiSC creates a common language and a self-awareness to better understand ourselves and others. The DiSC model divides people into four main behavioral styles. Individuals are identified as either People-oriented or Task-oriented. They are further distinguished as Reserved or Active. DiSC then identifies each individual’s main character trait for each behavior type; they could be classified as Dominant, Inspiring, Supportive, or Cautious.
